Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
We're looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team at a fast-growing healthcare technology company. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual who can help us make data-driven decisions to support our strategic growth. You'll be a key player in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the company's success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, including pricing analysis, ROI calculations, and business case development.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and manage periodic forecasts, working with department heads to gather inputs and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for senior management and the board of directors. Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecast.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for various business units to help them understand their performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously seek to improve financial processes, reporting, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization, including sales, marketing, and product development, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare, technology, or SaaS industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial principles and accounting.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data manipulation.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
