Business Development Internship Opportunity
eMed is seeking a Summer Business Development Intern to support our Government Department during our 8-week Summer Internship Program, running from June 1st through July 31st, 2026.
This internship provides hands-on experience within a fast-growing health-tech company operating at the intersection of healthcare, compliance, and innovation.
The Business Development Intern would be responsible for tasks directly supporting the onboarding of the 7 new Account Executives (AEs) and their segmented focus areas. These would include:
- Conducting market research and data compilation to finalize the segmentation of target accounts (ideal customers w/propensity to buy) across State, and Local government, as well as the Education sector. Potentially Fed (TBD).
- Focus on self funded states, targeting states with current programs that cannot facilitate a GLP-1 direct from manufacturer carve-out program.
- Work w/consultants to coordinate meetings state by state
- Assisting in the creation of initial contact lists and databases for each of the new AE's geographical and segment-specific territories.
- Developing internal and external-facing foundational documents and presentations tailored to the specific needs of the new Government Group.
- Assisting in RFP response
Interns will gain direct exposure to the operational, regulatory, and governance framework of a nationally scaling healthcare platform.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (business administration, sales, or related field preferred)
U.S. Veterans are encouraged to apply

Interest in healthcare, regulatory environments, or corporate governance
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite at our Miami, FL headquarters
