Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will support eMed's growth by identifying and fostering relationships with potential clients, with a focus on promoting our GLP-1 weight loss program. This role will prioritize lead generation, client engagement, and achieving sales goals to expand our presence in the market. The position reports to the VP/Director of Partnership Development.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and qualify leads for the GLP-1 program and drive deal negotiations that align with company growth and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with mid-sized organizations and healthcare stakeholders to promote program adoption.
  • Conduct client presentations and communicate the value of eMed's offerings effectively.
Client Engagement & Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective clients, addressing inquiries and providing program information.
  • Establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring client satisfaction and continued program engagement.
  • Support the client onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with internal teams to align sales activities with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with brokers and consultants to support sales initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on client needs and market opportunities to leadership.
Market Awareness
  • Stay informed on trends in weight management solutions and healthcare programs.
  • Advocate for eMed’s GLP-1 program as a solution to enhance organizational wellness.
Performance Tracking
  • Meet sales targets and report progress to the VP/Director of Partnership Development.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare or wellness programs (preferred), esp. GLP-1 therapeutics.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the healthcare, benefits, or pharma sectors.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or a related field.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and build client relationships.
